He served in World War I, his headstone reads PVT CO C Development BN. He married Edith Davis Caldwell and had two daughters and a son. Albert worked for the Rock Quarry in Jacksboro, Tx. until a dynomite explosion burst his eardrums. He died June 2,1960, age 70, at McKenny Veterans Hospital in McKenny, Texas and is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro.
