Gary Goodson officiating. Interment followed at Hermann Sons Cemetery under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home. Mrs. Bade died Dec. 12. Born Dec. 25, 1927, in DeWitt County to the late Dietrich J. and Hilda Gerdes Beckermann, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the D.A.V. and she was also a member of the Hermann Sons. She was owner/operator of Yoakum Speed Wash. She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Ann Hall, Yoakum; son, Dennis Wayne Bade, Yoakum; sisters, Gerdine Boening, Edna, and Viola Eilers, Channelview; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard J. Bade; and a sister, Dora Bell Kloesel. Pallbearers were Michael Eilers, Gary Boening, Randy Nesloney, Rudy Hanzelka Jr., Carl Luddeke and Michael Wehmann. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church or to donor’s choice.
