Funeral services for Jesse J. Cavazos, 56, of Ralls, Texas were held 
Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ralls with 
the Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating. Interment followed at Ralls 
Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. 

Mr. Cavazos died Aug. 5. He was born June 13, 1945, in Edna. An active 
member of his church and community, he was a farmer and member of St. 
Michael’s Catholic Church and the Men’s Organization. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Cavazos, Ralls; daughter, Marcella 
Reyes, Ralls; son, Nicky Cavazos, Ralls; sisters, Carmelita Gonzales, 
Grapevine, and Gloria Cavazos, Grandfalls; brothers, Tony Cavazos, 
Edna, John Cavazos, Ralls, Crescencio Cavazos Jr. and Joe Cavazos, 
both of Crane, Pedro Cavazos, McCamey, and Robert Cavazos, Monohans; 
step-brothers, Ruben Cavazos, Odessa, and Steve Cavazos, Grandfalls; 
and seven grandchildren. 

Pallbearers were Chris Cavazos, Gabriel Cavazos, Johnny Andrew Cavazos, 
Mateo Cavazos, Joe Cavazos Jr. and Jesse Joe Cavazos.
