Lola Mendez Finnell 

Funeral services for Lola Mendez Finnell, 91, of Webster were held 
Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at Kreidler Funeral Home in McAllen. Interment 
followed at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission under the direction of 
Crowder Funeral Home. 
Mrs. Finnell died Aug. 13. She was born Sept. 12, 1909, in Brownsville. 
Survivors include daughter, Carmen Finnell Shinn, LaMarque; son, 
Richard Allen Finnell, Austin; sister, Estella Longoria, San Antonio; 
and four grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Finnell; and son, 
Robert Finnell. 
Memorials may be made to Mary Hardin Baylor University Scholarship 
Fund, 900 College St., Belton, Texas 76513.
