Opal Adele Francis 

Funeral services for Opal Adele Francis, 89, of Belle, Mo. will be held Friday, 
Jan. 25, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle, Mo. with Tony Townley 
officiating. Interment will follow at Francis Family Cemetery north of Belle. 

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 at Sassman Chapel, Belle, Mo. 

Mrs. Francis died Jan. 19. Born Sept. 12, 1912, near Belle, Mo. to the late Hermann 
and Clara Klein Francis, she served in the U.S. Women’s Army Corps during World War II. 

Survivors include son, Mike Francis, Inez; three grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by husband, Foyd Francis; parents; and brother, Victor. 

Memorials may be made to the Francis Family Cemetery Association, Belle, Mo.
