Tony Hines officiating. Interment followed at Ganado Cemetery under the direction of Ganado Funeral Home. Mrs. Freeman died Nov. 19. Born Sept. 11, 1921, in Arkansas to the late W. Amos and Dollie Knight Langley, she was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Ganado and the Eastern Star #957. She and the late Clide Freeman were married Oct. 8, 1938, at Del, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 2000. Survivors include daughters, Peggy Bubela, Lake Jackson, and Marie Hart, LaWard; brothers, J.D. Langley, El Campo, and Eugene Dunn, South Carolina; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brothers, Harvey Dunn and Fred Langley. Pallbearers were Royce Knuppel, Elton Knuppel, Claude Freeman Jr., Johnny Anderson, Bobby Anderson and Steve Brezina. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Bassham, J.D. Lambert, Gerald Freeman and Wayne Knuppel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
