Funeral services for Iris Jeanette Garza, 45, of Edna, were held Oct. 5, at Slavik 
Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Red Bluff Cemetery. 

Mrs. Garza died Oct. 2. Born June 18, 1956, in Houston to the late David Anderson 
and Iris Sowell Anderson, she was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was also 
proceeded in death by her first husband, Kirk Brod. 

Survivors include: daughter, Vicki Brod of Temple; sisters, Frances Beasley and 
Iris Hatfield of Humble; brother, E.B. Pope of Houston; and one grandchild. 

Pallbearers include: Charlie Cunningham, Ricky Cunningham, Larry Sowell, 
Jerry Sowell, Kenny Whittley and Rocky Nairn. Honorary Pallbearers included: 
Sam Idlett and Earl M
