John R. Fisher Jr. officiating. Mrs. Gasaway died Nov. 3. Born Oct. 1, 1917, in Bruceville to the late Edgar and Myrtle Hogue Sporles. She spent most of her life in Victoria and moved to Kennewick, Wash., in Feb. of 1999 with her daughter. She then moved to Richland Gardens Assisted Living where she spent the last 2-1/2 years. An avid Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Mariners fan, she also enjoyed recalling family stories. Survivors include daughter, Cheryl Huddleston, Kennewick, Wash.; brothers, Billy Sproles, Mission Valley, and Edgar Sproles, Irving; sisters, Jessie Dee Bruchmiller, Victoria, Marjorie Green, Francitas, and Lucy Harrist, Dodridge, Ark.; 3 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Bruce Gassaway; and nieces Billie Zandonatti and Patricia Ort.
