Michael Petering officiating. Entombment followed at Holy Cross Memorial Park with military honors under the auspices of the American Legion Post 251. Mr. Kaspar died Dec. 14. Born Oct. 20, 1935, in Ganado to the late John and Mary Vesely Kaspar, he was a building contractor for 31 years and was a member of St. Philip’s Catholic Church of El Campo where he was maintenance supervisor. After retirement from St. Philip’s, he became a rancher. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus No. 2490 and KJT. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Annie Merta Kaspar of El Campo; daughter, Jennifer Kaspar, El Campo; son, Gerard Kaspar, El Campo;sister, Lexia Ribeiro, Houston; and brother, Leo Kaspar, Ganado; He was preceded in death by parents; and an infant brother. Pallbearers were Victor Shimek, Willie Balcar, Michael Balcar, Stanley Konvicka and Larry Hickl. Honorary pallbearers were Allen Konvicka and David Konvicka. Memorials may be made to Hospice Support, Inc., Blessing Cup Medical Fund or St. Phlip’s School Endowment.
