John R. Fisher officiating. Full military services were under the auspices of Victoria Veterans Council, VFW, CWV, DAV, American Legion, Marine Corps League, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Crossroads Ex-POWs, Military, and Order of the World Wars. Arrangements were under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Victoria. Born Aug. 3, 1917, in Hallettsville to the late Robert Henry and Maud Fitch Keith, he was an operator at TENNECO and a Baptist. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II as a sergeant. Survivors include daughter, Ofa Maudine Keith Pinson, Victoria; son, Chester Keith, Corpus Christi; brothers, Joe Keith, Port Lavaca, Roy Keith, Victoria, Robert Keith, Edna, and B.B. Keith, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents; and four sisters. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
