Patti Luebben-Byrne officiating. Mrs. Kubala died Jan. 15. Born Nov. 12, 1915, in Cuero to the late Edward and Elizabeth Hornie Demmer, she was formerly living in Yorktown and Davy, Texas. She was a former employee of the Yorktown Produce and Locker Plant and the Green Lantern Cafe. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown and a member of Gruenau Hermann Sons Lodge #117. She and the late Frank Kubala were married in 1934. Survivors include daughter, LaDelle Kolar, LaSalle; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by parents; husband; son, Gary Kubala; sister, Minnie Junker; and brother, Rudolph Demmer. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice. Arrangements were under the direction of Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home.
