Joseph Hybner officiating. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Nada under the direction of Ganado Funeral Home. Mrs. Labay died Jan. 10. Born July 31, 1911, in Plum to the late John and Frances Babica Kaspar, she was a homemaker and member of Assumption Catholic Church of Ganado. She was a member of K.J.Z.T. of Nada and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas of Nada. She and the late Steve Labay Sr. were married in Ganado on Oct. 11, 1931. Survivors include daughters, Pauline Leopold, Nada, and Dolores Adler, Houston; sons, Joseph C. Labay, East Bernard, Johnny V. Labay, Ganado, Steve J. Labay Jr. and Thomas A. Labay, all of Ganado, and Lambert Labay, Austin; sister, Bessie Surovec, Ganado; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband; parents; two sisters; and 10 brothers. Pallbearers were Zan Adler, Michael Labay, Pat Labay, Bryan Blahuta and Anthony Leopold.
