Mrs. Martin died Jan. 16. Born April 23, 1912, in Scottsville, Ark., to the late A.J. and Mary Ellen Lankford Meek, she was a homemaker and a member of Vanderbilt Church of Christ. She and the late C.W. Martin were married Dec. 9, 1933, at Scottsville, Ark. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1981. Survivors include sons, Kenneth Martin and Don Martin, both of Rosenberg; sister, Lori Meek, California; brother, Garland Meek, Louisiana; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Michael Martin, Clay Martin, Ethan Martin, Joshua Vaughn, Steven Martin and Ken Vaughn. Arrangements were under the direction of Slavik Funeral Home.
