Aaron Steinbrenner officiating. Visitation was Friday, Dec. 21 from 8-10 p.m. at Slavik Chapel. Private graveside services were held in the family cemetery at Koop Community under the direction of Slavik Funeral Home. Mr. Meador died Dec. 20. Born Jan. 12, 1947, in Edna to E.W. and Eleanor Spree Meador of Edna, he was a salesman for Ganado Vacuum Service and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He and the former Sandy Love were married in Edna on May 23, 1975. Survivors include his parents; wife, Sandy Love Meador, Edna; daughters, Lindsey Page Meador, Melody Joy Meador and Eleanor Leanne Meador, all of Edna; son, Garland Page Meador, Edna; and brothers, Charles Williams and Dan Meador, both of Edna, Robert Williams, Victoria, and Van Meador, Bay City. Pallbearers were: Richard Berryhill, John Magnet, Mickey Lopez, Mike Schoolfield, Glen Knuppel and Johnny Atkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Berryhill, Larry Love, Rick Love, Alton McCurry, Van Meador and Dan Meador. Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.
