Meneley, 84, of Hot Springs, Ark., were held Sunday, July 8, 2001, at First United Methodist Church of Ganado. Arrangements were under the direction of Hot Springs Funeral Home, Hot Springs, Ark. Mrs. Meneley died July 2. Born March 22, 1917, in Kamey, to the late Claude Ernest and Louise “Lucy” Marchak Garrett, she was a homemaker and a Presbyterian. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Coach, Pearland; son, Joe Lee Meneley, Ganado; sister, Rosalee Mullneaux, Port Lavaca; brothers, Melvin Garrett and Earnest Garrett, both of Port Lavaca, and Charles Garrett, Victoria; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Meneley; and parents.
