Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Hallettsville under the direction of Ganado Funeral Home. A rosary was recited Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Neumann died Dec. 9. Born Johanna Jalufka on April 10, 1920, in Lavaca County to the late Joseph and Ludmilla Rechek Jalufka, she was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors included daughter, Jerry Jackson, Booneville, Ark., son, Travis Neumann, Ganado; sisters, Betty Prasek, Cuero, and Alice Sheffield, Arizona; brother, Marvin Koening, Yoakum; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Neumann; parents; daughters, Shirley Leopold and Janice Hanz; sister, Magdeline Kussey; and brothers, Tom Jalufka and Joe Jalufka.
