Funeral services for Raymond Peterek, 86, of Ganado, were held Oct 4, at 
Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado with Rev. Joseph Hybner officiating.  
Interment followed at Assumption Catholic Cemetery under the direction of 
Ganado Funeral Home. 

Mr. Peterek died Oct. 2. Born Sept. 6, 1915, in Schulenburg he was a retired oil 
field contractor and a member of Assumption Catholic Church and the KJZT. 

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Olga Psencik Peterek; daughter, Virginia 
Peterek; sisters, Mary Erdelt and Angie Moore; and brothers, Victor Peterek and 
August Peterek. 

Survivors include: daughters, Carol Hunt and Joyce Cieslewicz, both of Ganado and 
Raylene Jenkins of Rosenberg; son, Marvin Peterek of Victoria; 10 grandchildren; 
and 12 great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers include: Matt Cieslewicz, Randy Cieslewicz, Trent Peterek, Chad Peterek, 
Charles Jenkins Jr. and Russ Hunt.
