Joseph Hybner officiating. Interment followed at Assumption Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Ganado Funeral Home. Mr. Peterek died Oct. 2. Born Sept. 6, 1915, in Schulenburg he was a retired oil field contractor and a member of Assumption Catholic Church and the KJZT. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Olga Psencik Peterek; daughter, Virginia Peterek; sisters, Mary Erdelt and Angie Moore; and brothers, Victor Peterek and August Peterek. Survivors include: daughters, Carol Hunt and Joyce Cieslewicz, both of Ganado and Raylene Jenkins of Rosenberg; son, Marvin Peterek of Victoria; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers include: Matt Cieslewicz, Randy Cieslewicz, Trent Peterek, Chad Peterek, Charles Jenkins Jr. and Russ Hunt.
