Lottie Prukop 

Funeral services for Lottie Prukop, 84, of Victoria, formerly of Inez, were held 
Tuesday, Jan, 29, 2002, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Murff 
officiating. Interment followed in Resurrection C cemetery under the direction 
of Rosewood Funeral Chapels. 

Mrs. Prukop died Jan. 27. Born March 26, 1917, in Panna Maria to the late Andrew 
Matejek and Victoria Pavlic Matejek, she was a homemaker. 

Survivors include a daughter, Dixie Swearingen, Victoria; son, Kenneth Wells, 
Ocean Springs, Miss.; sisters, Bennie Foster and Irene Strader, both of Inez, and 
Lydia Venglar of LaSalle; brothers, Joe Matejek and Leroy Matejek, both of 
Corpus Christi, and Tony Matejek, Eagle Lake; five grandchildren; and five 
great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers were Glen Charbula, David Strader, Wayne Prukop, Lee Swearingen, 
Walter foster and Ernie Seiler. 

Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
