Danny Wilson officiating and the Rev. Howard Boyd assisting. Interment followed at Memory Gardens of Edna under the direction of Slavik Funeral Home of Edna. Mrs. Quinn died Jan. 3. Born Sept. 14, 1916, in Lavaca County, Texas to the late Ed and Daisy Lee Rutledge, she was a homemaker, a nurse’s aide and a member of Baptist Temple Church of Edna. She and Charles Levi Quinn were married at Vianna, Texas on Dec. 24, 1934. They were married for 67 years. They both died Jan. 3, 2002. Survivors include a daughter, Wilma Sless, Ganado; son, Leroy Quinn, El Campo; sisters, Imelia McDaniel, Indio, Calif., and Leno Judd of Hallettsville; brother, Henry Rutledge, Fannett, Texas; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; three brothers, Ernest Rutledge, Leonard Rutledge and Elzzie Rutledge; and a grandson. Pallbearers were Jessie Frenzel, Carl Powers, Henry Pecha, Larry Vibrock, James Judd and Gordon Grymes. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons and granddaughters, Donna Foster, Steven Quinn, Emmie Lou Quinn, David Sless, Darrell Sless and Danny Sless.
