Jim Furr officiating. Interment followed at Seadrift Cemetery. Mr. Raby died Dec. 28. Born July 31, 1956, in Port Lavaca to James D. Raby of Port Lavaca and Dollie Jean West of San Patricio, he was self employed as a rancher/farmer. Survivors include daughter, Amy Jean Richmond, Mission; sons, James Derrick Raby and Wesley Brian Raby, both of Mission; sisters, Cathy Raby Symonds, Port Lavaca, Norma Jean Casey, Hallettsville, and Deborah Kay Bearden, New Boston, Tx.; and grandfather, H.C. “Buck” Raby, Seadrift. He was preceded in death by son, John David Raby. Pallbearers were Steven Terry, Clifton Brendel, David Casey, Rodney Cooper, Brice Moreland and James Derrick Raby. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Etzler, Scott Symonds, Wesley Raby and Tex Butler.
