Funeral services for Sherry Ione Rogers, 57, of Edna were held Thursday, 
July 5, 2001, at First Baptist Church of Edna with the Rev. Gary Covin 
officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery in Ezzell under the 
direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home of Edna. 

Miss Rogers died July 2. Born in Edna on Oct. 3, 1943, to the late 
Robert and Sibyl DeBord Rogers, she was a school teacher and member 
of First Baptist Church of Edna. 

Survivors include a sister, Wanda Brown, Edna; nephews, Chad Chadbourne 
and Chuck Chadbourne, both of Alvin, and Billy Chadbourne, LaPorte; 
and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Brown, Edna. 

Pallbearers were Chad Chadbourne, Billy Chadbourne, Chuck Chadbourne, 
James DeBord, Edward Knopp, Wayne Page.
