Funeral services for Minnie Dyson Sellers, 87, of Vanderbilt, were held Oct. 4, at 
Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Parrish officiating. Interment followed 
at Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Mrs. Sellers died Oct. 2. Born May 15, 1914, in Ripley, Tenn. to the late Jess and Maude 
Hathcock Jenkins she was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in 
Vanderbilt. 

She was proceeded in death by her husbands, Carl Dyson and Homer Sellers; son, 
Carl Dyson; brother, Victor Jenkins; and a grandson. 

Survivors include: daughter, Daisy Dees of Deer Park; sons, Bill Dyson of Inez and 
Travis Dyson of LaRue; brother, James Jenkins of Ripley, Tenn; 11 grandchildren; 
and 17 great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers were John Dees, Dennis Hunt, Clay Dyson, Jason Dyson, Sandy Dyson 
and Craig Dyson.
