Interment followed at Brookside Cemetery under the direction of Cy-Fair Northwest Funeral Home of Houston. Mr. Stechmann died Dec. 23. A member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge #7 in Magnolia, he was a member in god standing for 60 years. He served in the U.S. Army and gave 30 years of service to the Elington Air Force base. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Stechmann, Houston; daughters, Tanda Ellison, Fort Worth, and Toni Tuel, Arlington; step-daughters, Barbara Burns, Houston, and Phyllis Tegeler, Ganado; step-sons, Ray Rasmussen, Orlando, Fla. and Kenneth Rasmussen, Edna; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
