Lorenzo Williams 

Funeral services for Lorenzo Williams, 69, of Rosenberg were held 
Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001, at Prosperity Baptist Church in Ganado with 
the Rev. Pat Griffin officiating. Interment followed at Edna Community 
Cemetery under the direction of Cook-Butler Funeral Home of Edna. 
Mr. Williams died Aug. 27. Born Oct. 5, 1931, in Ganado to the late 
Herman Sr. and Lottie Mae Fields Williams, he was a retired ranch foreman. 
Survivors include daughters, Julie Gilmore and Debra Lewis, both of 
Houston, Kathyrine Turner, Richmond, and Shirley barnes, Edna; and sons, 
Kenneth Brent Williams and Donald Williams, both of Houston, Pap 
Williams, Richmond, and Ricky Sheppard, Edna. 
Pallbearers were Clarence Evans, Michael Caesar, Ozzie Caesar, Troy 
Oakmon and Bernard Scott.
