Interment followed at Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake under the direction of Dulany Funeral Home. Mrs. Zahradnick died Nov. 29. Born in Lissie, Wharton County, Texas on March 18, 1928, to Sam Melton and Minnie Williams Melton, she married Raymond Zahradnick in West Columbia on May 10, 1946, and resided in Eagle Lake most of her life. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Eagle Lake. Survivors include sons, Alan Zahradnick, Eagle Lake, and Lloyd Zahradnick, Sealy; sisters, Dorothy Cleveland, Yorktown, Lucy Graves, Rockdale, Ruth Hattenbauch, Houston, Edna Davenport, Tomball, Jodie Beam, Edna, and Betty Moore, Victoria; brother, Sammy Melton, Victoria; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 27, 2001. Palbearers included Phil Osborne, Roger Birdwell, James Schaffner, Cornell Green, Tommy Guthmann and Mike Burns.
