Russell passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in Brookeland, Texas. Born in Charleston, South Carolina and former resident of Woodville, Texas, Russell had been a resident of Jasper, Texas for the past six years. He was a self-employed roofer-carpenter by trade, who enjoyed fishing, golfing, thrift store shopping, classic rock and roll music and helping others. Russell especially loved his family and friends and could make friends with anyone. Russell is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lea Ansley; mother, Lilly Flaskamp of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Randolph F. Frasier, Robert Lively, Brian Frasier, Warren F. Frasier and John Berkenstock; sisters, Cathy Gray, Debra Wyatt and Janice Brooks; step-daughter, Bridgette White and husband Brandon and step-grandchildren, Morgan White and Raylee White. He was preceded in death by his father, William Charles Frasier and brother, Keith Frasier. Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
