James Kennan Green, of Jasper, Texas - aged, 22 years one month and twenty one days. "Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." Yes God's will, be done! "Blessed are they who die in the Lord." Mr. Green eldest son of Robert F. and Mary A. Green Deceased, was born in Washita county Arkansas, reared and educated in Texas, and at the time of his death a resident of Jasper. He was a young man of rare promise of lofty aspirations, earnest and honest in all his purposes. A noble young man, highly respected, and much beloved. He was a member of the Methodist Church - a Friend of Temperance, and a member elect in DeWitt Clinton Lodge, of the Order of Fremasonry. Associate Editor of the JASPER NEWSBOY and Publisher of the "Temperance Advocate."
