S. E. Jones - Funeral services for S. E. Jones, of Liberty, were held at 10 a.m. 
Thursday, June 15, at the Farmer Funeral Home at Silsbee, with burial in the 
Cunningham Cemetery.

He died at 9 a.m. on June 13 at Kersting Memorial Hospital at Liberty. he was a 
native of Sabine County and had lived in Liberty 28 years. He was a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Lee Jones of Liberty; a son, LaRue Jones 
of Liberty; three daughters, Patsy Adams and Shirley Jones of Liberty; and 
Janell Maris of Highlands; a brother, Jack Jones of Vinton, La., two sisters, 
Opal McClellan of Jasper, and Frances McMontgomery of Tyler; and four 
grandchildren.
