Lois passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Harbor Hospice in Jasper, Texas. A native of Atlanta, Texas and former resident of Freeport, Texas, Lois had been a resident of Jasper for the past 43 years. She retired from Church’s Fried Chicken in Jasper. Lois enjoyed quilting, fishing, gardening and going to the casino. Lois is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bobby Mayberry of Jasper, Texas; son, Larry Sprayberry and wife Cynthia of Richwood, Texas; daughters, Brenda Sprayberry of Jasper, Texas and Penny Erway of St. Petersburg, Florida; brothers, Earl Upchurch and wife Joyce of Queen City, Texas and Paul Upchurch of Atlanta, Texas; sisters, Ann Abate of Webster, Texas and Cathy Upchurch of Alvin, Texas; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Edna Upchurch; daughter, Debra Green; granddaughter, Ashlie Wills; sisters, Audrey, Bonnie and Patsy and brothers, Kenneth and Edwin.
