DIED. _ Judge Seymour White, of Jasper, died on the 12th inst. Aged nearly 
seventy years.

He left a wife, a son, grown, and six daughters, overwhelmed with inexpressible 
grief.

He left a mourning community of neighbors and friends who are sensible of having 
lost one of its best informed and most useful citizens.

He was our County Judge at the time of his death.

Heaven preserve our people. This is indeed a dark day in our experience.
