ABNEY -- POWELL

MARRIED.

At the residence of the bride's father, at Peachtree, on Wednesday evening, May 
26th, 1880, by Rev. B. W. Powell, Dr. Geo. M. Abney, late of the Louisville 
Medical College, to Miss Mattie Powell.

Dr. Abney is quite a promising young physician, and has already claimed 
citizenship among the Peachtreeites [sic], which place has been the home of his 
charming bride for several years. They have the News-Boy's best wishes for many 
years of pleasure and prosperity.
