Death of E. T. Stowits.

The sad intellegence (sic) of the death of Mr. E. T. Stowits occurid (sic) 
at Beaumont this morning at 5'clock. The family left here a few months ago 
and were living with his son F. C. Stowits. The deceased has been in feeble 
health for some months and his demise is regretted by a large circle of 
acquaintances. He came to Jennings about 18 months ago and for previous he 
lived in New Iberia.

His daughter Mrs. Will Diemer left yesterday in answer to a summons stating 
that he was dying.

We extend sympathy to the family in their bereavement.
