Rev. Joseph Dazio, pastor, will officiate. Burial under direction of Carroll-Wallace Funeral Home, 1685 Park, will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Perello, Jay Verde, Vincent Bruno Jr., Peter Joseph Verde, John Michael Verde, Ronnie Ienna, John Tortorice and Jack Tortorice. All other grandsons have been designated as honorary pallbearers. A rosary was said Thursday night. Mrs. Verde died at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday at her residence. She was a native of Italy and had lived in Beaumont 52 years. Mrs. Verde was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Sacred Heart League. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Sam Tortice, Mrs. Tony Perello, Mrs. C. V. Tortorice, Mrs. N. M. Campise, Mrs. Fred Ienna and Mrs. Vincent Bruno, all of Beaumont; three sons, Vick Verde of Lake Charles, Jake Verde of Beaumont and Mike Verde of Sour Lake; 27 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
