WHITE, 73, PT. ARTHUR RESIDENT DIES IN GROVES Port Arthur -- Mrs. Margaret Rena White, 73, of 2689 Sixty-first St. died in Doctor's Hospital in Groves at 6:15 p.m. Friday after an illness of two weeks. She was a native of Dallas but had lived in Port Arthur 43 years. She was a Baptist and the widow of the late Lawrence Earl White who died in Port Arthur in 1954. Funeral arrangements will be announced bt Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. She is survived by two sons, Lawrence Edward White of Crystal Beach and Alvin Roy White of Hartburg; five daughters, Mrs. Alice LaBove of Port Arthur, Mrs. Earline King of Winnie, Mrs. Letha LeBlanc and Mrs. Juanita Johnson of Port Acres and Mrs. Louetta Edwards of Marble Falls, Ark.; 23 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, T.F. Hendon Port Arthur, and three sisters.
