Son of the late John C. Ward. pioneer Beaumont lumberman, and Mrs. Pickie Kyle Ward, Mr. Ward had been employed for 25 years by the Texas Ice Company. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Beaumont American Legion Post 83. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hannah Fox Ward; three brothers, H.L., Carroll E. and King Ward, and two sisters, Mrs. Seawillow Ward Stafford and Mrs. Emma Ward Kelso. All survivors are of Beaumont. Funeral services will be sometime Saturday afternoon in the chapel of the Carrol-Wallace funeral home. Burial arrangements are incomplete.
