The Rev. Sandord Cole, a Baptist minister, officiated. Burial was in Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Sticley Funeral Home of Canadian. Mr. Vandiver died Sunday, December 22, 1968 at his home near Durham. He was born February 4, 1889. He was a native of Cleburne, Texas, and had lived near Durham for 48 years. Surviving him are a son, Sam of Dumas; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Williams of Amarillo, Mrs. Modell Andrews of Canadian and Mrs. Jospehine Vaughan of Denver City; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Miller of Hastland; nien grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
