Benjamin F. Bickerstaff, Post Civil War rebel, was born in Monroe Co., MS and
raised in Titus/Franklin Counties before the war.Ê He was gunned down in the
Streets of Alvarado in April of 1869, as one of the 3 most wanted men by the
Federal Troops.Ê Ben was the third child of Frances Mayfield Bickerstaff (b. TN)
and Seaborn Bickerstaff (b. GA).Ê
