R.M. BUIE FAMILY CAME TO JONES COUNTY IN 1881

R.M. Buie came to Jones County in an ox wagon in 1880. He settled near here
digging a well and make other improvements before his family came here in 1881.
His old home now owned by J.J. Dyer, was used as the Anson first school house.
