Widney, sales manager for the Rule-Jayton Cotton Oil Mill, which operates the Stamford Cotton Oil Mill. Before I go west, I will sell, at a sacrifice, my last Lueders Stone Monument for $15.00, letters. Geo. W. Risley, Lueders, TX. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Hood moved to Knox City where they will reside. Mr. Hood has accepted a position with Bryant-Link company in Knox City. Mr. David Jacobs, who came to Jones county from East Texas passed away at the Mauldin farm six miles south of Stamford, where he was living on Sept. 3. The deceased leaves a wife, and three children. He was 48 years of age at his death. Funeral took place at Spring Creek on the following day with W.N. Kinney of the Barrow Undertaking Department in charge. On Thursday afternoon at 5:00 Marvin Kelley, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.V. Kelley of Avoca was operated on Friday for appendicitis and died in Stamford. The deceased was 17 years old and the eldest of the children in the family. Funeral was at the Methodist church in Avoca with Penick-Hughes Undertaking department in charge. Young Marvin Kelley of Avoca was buried at Anson this afternoon. His sister, Miss Belle Kelly was one of his survivors. (Kinney, 4, Marvin L. Kelley, lived at Avoca, death at M.E.
