Robertson of Comanche, has accepted the principal of the New Hope School. Misses Cox and Underwood are assistants. Rev. J.B. Rowan, pastor of the First Baptist church of Stamford closed his ministry and will leave for Terrell. Mr. J.[Jonas] Phelps, an aged farmer of the Sunnyside community dropped dead at his home Thursday morning while loading cotton. He was 75 years old and leaves an aged wife. Barrow Furniture Undertaking parlor had charge and interment was made at Sunnyside. The Singer Sewing Machine office has been moved from the Alcove building to the first house north of the City Hall, on West side of street. - A.M.
