Glass, proprietor of the Texas Chick Hatchery at Arlington, Texas. Stamford Bulldogs play against Aspermont Wm. Hinson has sold his barber shop on East Hamilton street to Clay Wood of Aspermont. Hinson will move with his family to McAllen, Texas. F.M. Locke has leased the Stamford Filling Station on the northeast corner of the square. Joshua Bakeman Pendley, 25 years of age, single and residing with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Pendley, on East Davenport street in Stamford died suddenly at his home about 1 a.m. and was buried Sunday afternoon at the Spring Creek cemetery with J.D. Harvey of the church of Christ, preaching the funeral services. Mr. Pendley had been employed most of the time for the past five years with the Waples-Platter Wholesale Grocery Co. and was on the job Saturday cheerful as ever. Mr. Pendley formerly lived in Avoca. W.N. Kinney of the Barrow Furniture Undertaking department had charge. B.P. Busby was called to El Paso Friday, the 19th by the death of his brother, B.T. Busby, who was there for his health and passed away there that day. He formerly lived in Stamford, moving east some six years ago, locating at Frost, where the body was taken for burial. He had tuberculosis from being gassed in Germany in the war. T.M. Smart The Druggist Lueders, Texas The little child of Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson of west Lueders died last Wednesday evening very suddenly. (Kinney FH, Baby Nelson, infant Sam Nelson of Lueders, 2 years, The family of J.D. McClusky has move from Lueders to Knox City. Mr. Johnson, manager of the Lueders Limestone Co.
