Dr. J.G. Miller, a former pastor of the Methodist church here, and presiding elder of this district committed suicide at his home in Durant, Oklahoma, Monday morning. He cut his throat while in the family garage. He left a note to his wife and daughter. Dr. Miller owned rental property in Stamford and was 72 years of age.
