A.C. Thompson is now the sole owner of the City Garage Grocery Store at the corner of Webb and Moran. Mr. Thompson took over the half interest of Arthur Reed, his partner. The garage will be manager by Tom Munsey. Little Ila Mae Hardin, five years old, only child of Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Hardin, burned to death at the family home outside Austin, Texas, last Friday afternoon, together with two little Cullen girls of about the same age who were spending the day with her. Little Ila Mae was born in Haskell, Sept. 11, 1919. Mrs. Hardin was reared in Rochester, where B.C. used to be the editor of the paper and postmaster. He is a son of Mrs. E. Hardin of East Moran street, Stamford, and brother of Fred and Miss Louise of the American force. He and family moved to Austin about the first of 1920 where he has since been employed in the Internal Revenue service.
