Tunnellís residence at the corner of Ferguson and McLendon streets is being remodeled and made over into a rooming house. Baby Robinelle McClintock, 9 months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. McClintock of S. McMillan St., Stamford, died at the family home Saturday evening at 10:00 after a several weekís illness of stomach trouble. Two little sisters and a brother remain in the home. Funeral at the Howard cemetery with a former pastor of the family conducting and Barrow Undertakers in charge. Macon Park on California Creek is popular picnic ground. His nice farm home faces the park and he lives like a prince royal out there. His home is electrically lighted and electrically run. The Central Service Station owned and operated by J.D. and Pleas Curd at the southeast corner of the square was leased by the Pierce Petroleum Corp. Now be called the Pennant Service Station in future with J.L. Rucker and sons in charge. Mr. Rucker is R.F.D. carrier on Route B. J.L. Mason is manager of the Pierce company here. August Buttner, of the New Light community reached his 78th mile stone of life’s career.
