Excitement caused by oil well Monday has quieted down - drilling
continues.

Mr. Fletcher Roberts of Nugent was buried last Tuesday. He died at his
home Monday night at 8:45. Funeral was conducted Tuesday morning at the
Methodist church by Rev. Yates. Fletcher is survived by his mother, Mrs.
L.G. Roberts and four brothers and one sister - Hollis Roberts, King
Roberts, Otto Roberts, C. Roberts and Mrs. Bertha Jackson.

Mr. Joe Cooper of Nugent died at his home on the 18th of August. He is
survived by his wife and one son and one daughter. Services were
conducted by Jim Harvey.
