Powell, 79 years of age, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.H. Stevenson. The funeral was held at 3:00 Tuesday afternoon with Rev. M.B. Harris, pastor of the Central Christian church. Swenson Stamford, Texas Funeral of Mrs. Margaret Potts, who died here Thursday of last week, was held in Anson Friday morning at 10:00 with Rev. Mr. Hammer officiating. Interment was at Mount Hope cemetery at Anson. Arrangements by Penick-Hughes Company. Mrs. Potts was 87 years old and had been an invalid for a number of years. For two years she has been tenderly cared for by her grandson, Dr. F.E. Hudson. Mrs. Potts was one of the pioneer residents of this county, coming here from Grayson county many years ago.
