Easterling elected president of Stamford chamber of Commerce at annual meeting Tuesday Nurses home at the Stamford Sanitarium is practically completed. New building is in foreground J.R. Horn & Son, of Abilene are the contractors and David S. Castle is the architect. Mrs. Lydia Alice Lee, 63, one of the pioneer citizens of Rochester died there Monday. Mrs. Lee had been a resident of Rochester since 1885. Body was sent to Cisco for interment. Penick-Hughes made the arrangements. Mrs. Dellah Omega Brown, of Weinert, died in Stamford Sunday morning. Mrs. Brown was 36 years of age. Funeral was held in Weinert Monday. Penick-Hughes Comany in charge.
