Pattillo, R.E. Chambers, D.O. Kincannon, and J.S. Abbott J.E. Tyson left for Dallas to purchase elaborate fixtures for his cafe. He will also purchase an elegant soda fountain. The marriage of Mr. H. Cunningham and Miss Maye Hicks are the home of her father, Mr. W.A. Hicks on Sunday. Mr. Cunningham hails from Delta, Colorado. - Review Local and Personal P. Curd has moved to Haskell. Jess Jones returned to West. Sam Noles, an employee of the Western Well Works had two fingers cut off at work. L.E. Larche and family came over from Fort Griffin to visit. Mr. Clyde Hargrove of Cameron has accepted a position with J.E. Tyson in the Royal Cafe. Henry Tonjeous of DeWitt county is prospecting in Stamford. The telephone office will be moved to the upper story of the bank building. Mrs. G.H. Mays is visiting her daughter at Lueders. R.E. Caudle has gone to Houston Henry Gibson is very low. Dr. Collins is the proud father of a new son, 2 weeks old. The foundation has been laid for a nice cottage for Mr. Bills. Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Punchard returned from a visit to the old home place in Bell county. Liberty Happenings Mr. [Leander] Eugene Bass and Miss [Margaret] Maggie Busby were united in marriage last Sunday evening. Miss Maggie has lived here 2 years. Mr. Bass is an industrious young farmer in McLennan county. Willis Pamplin of Vernon paid a visit to Mr. J.H. Luttrell. L.B. Ryburn and wife visited their daughter, Mrs. Lela Harris, near Stamford. Enick Hughes of Wind Mill was in Stamford. Robert “Bob” L. Chapman died at his home in Anson, Saturday night at 8:40 o’clock. His death was a shock to the town. Mr. Chapman was employed as head clerk by H.J. Grace, one of our popular grocers. Mr. Chapman had been a citizen of Jones county about 15 years. He was a member of the Methodist church. He was a faithful husband and devoted father. He leaves a wife and 7 children, all girls, the oldest being about 16 years old. -- Jones County Talk Joe Hammers and Miss Wastal were married on Sunday at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.D.
