Proposition of a new Federal Post Office building in town.

	Johnson, the Jeweler, has moved to the Southside of the square with the 
	Cooper Drug Co.
	Mrs. C.W. Smith and family, formerly of Mansfield have bought land near 
	here for their future home.

Mr. C.H. P’Pool is running for the office of District and County clerk. Mr. P’Pool
has been here about 25 years.

L.N. Glaze is trying for the office of Tax Assessor of Jones County. Mr. Glaze is 39
years of age. He was born in Missouri in 1868, and has been in Texas 32 years. For
the past 7 years he has been a resident of this county. He received his education in
the public schools of Gainesville.

T.C. “Tobe” Owens announces for Tax Assessor. He was born in Williamson county, and
came West 27 years ago. He is now 50 years old.

Burl Hagler for Sheriff and Tax Collector of Jones County. Mr. Hagler was born in
Fannin County in 1880, and his parents moved to Jones county when he was only 8 years
of age. He now resided in Sinclair. He has served as constable for two years.
