Virginia Denise "Ginger" Cook

Virginia Denise ÒGingerÓ Cook, 40, of Stamford passed away 
Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., 
Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Orient Street Church of Christ with 
Wes Horn officiating. Burial followed in Highland Memorial Cemetery 
under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home. 

Ginger was born on December 1, 1965 in Stamford to Pat Gray and 
the late Tommy Gray. She married Aylois Cook on January 11, 1985 i
n San Angelo. She graduated from Stamford High School in 1984, 
worked as a LVN at Stamford Memorial Hospital, and was attending 
Cisco Junior College pursuing her RN license. She was a member of 
Orient Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father; and one daughter, Grayce Cook.

Surviving Mrs. Cook are husband, Aylois Cook of Stamford; one daughter, 
Sarah Cook of Denton; two sons, Rory and Jordan Cook of Stamford; 
mother, Pat Gray of Stamford; mother-in-law, Thelma Johnson of Stamford; 
two sisters, Marka Wilcox of Stamford, and LeAnn Reyes of Stamford; 
one brother, William ÒButchÓ Gray of Stamford; and numerous brothers-in-law, 
sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
